SUBMISSION
INFORMATION

Submissions will be accepted in the following categories: animation, fiction, narrative, experimental, music video, and documentary.

Submissions must be made from current Syracuse graduate or undergraduate students. The work having been written, directed, and produced by current SU/ESF students.

The primary roles of: director, cinematographer, and writer(s), and producer(s) must sign off on the work in the submission form.

No rough cuts will be accepted, final work must be submitted or it will not be eligible for SCFF.

Filmmakers can submit up to two films.

All submissions must include a completed form and working link.
ABOUTUS
The Salt City Film Festival is a showcase of student filmmakers' work within the categories of Animation, Fictional, Narrative, Experimental, Music Video, and Documentary. The festival includes screenings of upcoming feature films, Q&As with industry professionals, and talkbacks regarding diversity and inclusion within the film industry. Winners will be selected from each category of the festival by panels of industry professionals, and an additional Audience Award, in which all eligible films will be presented. The festival aims to promote student work and foster conversation surrounding the future of cinema.
